well i bit the bullet, grabbed one off amazon a few mins ago for $35 shipped 2-day

probably gonna hate the thin metal but atleast its got some room in it as ive heard..

anyone got this case and can give some feedback?

well for $35 shipped i dont expect much just trying to get myself hyped up lol... im tired of seeing my rig scattered on my desk lol
 
You will enjoy it, good air, sound design,wire hiding takes a little care. Be very careful with ethe wires from the front (switches, usb, sound, leads).

"Only" one fan, I reccommend Yate Loon, Their D12SL-12 can be had 2 for$15 shipped. 14 cm a little more, Dell Allienware D12BL-12 (ball bearing) are priced about the same. lol May not be needed.
 
yea i noticed that.. but hell i can always stick in some 92mm fans i got laying around until i can get some silent ones.. or near silent lol

trying to fix up a rig w/ $0 income is a task that just has to be stretched out lol
 
It looks like a good air cooler, Post some pic's when you get it? Also if you are looking for fans on the cheap, The rosewill 4 pack of blue fans for $12 work decent, Quiet but not the highest flowing of fans and they are bright as hell, but $12 for 4 is still a deal.
 
i'll be waiting to pick up a few black and white ones with w/o led's somewhere.. not a big fan of led's as i can barely sleep at night w/ any type of lights
of course i'll post some pics, and a little quick review!
 
At $35 I think you will be very happy with it. I haven't worked with the Gamma but the M59 is a nice budget case with some higher end features
 
well i got the case today, got the system loaded up in it, damn 20pin was too short :( so now its gotta be all out in the open dangit!

first problem encountered right away... after plugging in the front audio panel i now have no audio at all! tried switching to hdac97 and that didnt work.. tried just unplugging it.. and that didnt work :( now im stuck with no sound WTH :mad:

Try looking in the bios for the sound problem. Post some Pic's.
 
Thoughts so far -

pros:
-decent looks (they grew on me)
-nice black paint job
-included fan moves good air, fairly low noise
-cable management holes are a big plus

cons:
-my biggest gripe is that unless you have a ridiculously short optical drive on the top, you're not going to be able to use the top frontmost fan mount. I thought Samsung drives were some of the shortest out there; apparently they're not short enough.
-metal is incredibly thin; right side panel (with fan mounts) is warped and does not slide on flush with the case frame
-front fan filter is useless (and also non-removable as far as I can tell)

It's a great deal for $35, I just wish the steel was a little thicker. It is very light though and still very durable.

I thought about getting her a Hyper 212 but she already bought everything so it would be out of pocket on my end.....eh, I'll wait for her to complain about fan noise and then tell her to buy it. :D
