NVME OEM vs Retail: Pros/Cons?

I'm looking at getting a NVME drive -- and know that the Samsung PM961 is the OEM version of the 960 Evo -- what are the pros/cons on getting the OEM drive?

I know that a Pro is cost and Con is warranty -- how hard is it to get SSD cloning software if I go OEM? what are the thing I need to watch out for?
