I just bought one of these cards from Newegg last week and installed it today in my P3 944system, replacing the ATI Radeon 7000 card.
Do I need to reload any games that I have so that it will use the speed of the new card or is my system too slow to show any real improvement over the ATI card? I noticed it being slightly faster in GTA:VC and UT.

Oh, the card I chose was the Rosewill FX5500 AGP 256meg TV-Out DVI card, it was on sale for $92.
Has 270Mhz Core and 350Mhz RamDac.

Would have bought a Gigabyte 5500 (128bit memory) instead but...
A 5500 falls inbetween a 5200 Ultra and a 5600 so you'd get comparable performance, just loadup some games an she what she can do.

comparable performance to those cards? or to his old 7000? lol cuz the FX series isn't THAT bad lol...

For $92, 9600 Pro are a far better deal, they arent much more expensive. 5600 was bad enough ....let alone 5500, and really 256 meg ram must be slow as since its a budget card.
