a friends computer has an abit nf7-s v2 motherboard corsair xms pc2700 ram, amd 2700, and GF fx 5600 video card, after installing windows xp ertc i installed video drivers restarted the computer and windows does not load up i get a blank screen i went into safe mode and uninstalled the drivers i dont know what i should do now. is there certain drivers i need?

did you try the drivers that came with the card? Try the latest release from www.nvidia.com? Service Pack 1 installed? DX9 installed?

I dont have much experience with the FX series so these are some random suggestions

yes i did a clean install yesterday installed dx9,sp1 then the drivers then my monitor said no input after xp was about to load, it gets to the screen where the green thing slides on xp

use the DVI-CRT adapter that came with the video card. that is the only way to get some newer video cards/drivers to work with certain monitors, i had to do it on two computers and it workers fine now :) hope that helps.
