Hey i have:

A64 +3200 (2.0ghz)
1 gig of ram
GeForce 6800 GT

everything stock i got 10600-10700 on the 3dmark

I used coolbits to overclock the card but here is my question. The furthest i could go without testing telling me to lower my frequenciest was:

380
1100 (i never tried going further with this)

Everytime i tried to get to 385 it would tell me to lower my frequencies. My question is, does that test determine safe overclock frequencies or those are the frequencies that i will be able to get out of my card period.

By the way with that i got 11570 on 3dmark 2003.

Thanks.

what case? What brand 6800 GT is that?

I have found that most of the PNY GT's overclock fairly nicely

By asking "what case", he's trying to get an idea for the airflow in your system. And coolbits attempts to determine the safe OC settings (not theoretical max...IE with better cooling it'd go higher)...at least as far as I know.

Oh i have stock cooling, i have 2 vents on my case and my case tempterature is always aroudn 26 degrees celcium.
