can't remember what happened last year with the 5xxx series for nvidia, but i am pretty sure that they came to market fsater than the 6800 ultra has.
would it be fair to say that if nvidia repeats this with the 6900 u, when they do the april/june new line, the 6900u will only just be coming into retail?
also when is the nv48 coming out, b4 christmas???

also they have moved to the TSMC foundry, with an 11nm process which as has been shwn by the 6600s has had very good yields, so should the 6900u be far more available at launch???

It's 110nm actually.

But yes, the smaller feature size means a smaller GPU die and therefore more dies per wafer and more availability. More supply means cheaper prices too - good news if you're building an SLi rig. :)
