Crap, I didn't start thinking about this until after the fact, but my new Dell 2405FPW should arrive today and after reading some peoples posts, Im really afraid my new GTX OC won't be able to handle the native res! Keep in mind, I DO NOT *repeat* do not use AA in any shape or form, I could care less about it, all I run is 4x or 8x AF and thats it. Do you think my new setup below will have enough oompfff to power this sucker?
 
your GTX will handle it like butter. I have mine running off of my 6800GT and i use some AA and AF and still im able to play at either 1920x1200 or 16x12 depending what i can get the game to play at (not many games at all have widescreen resolutions so i have to tweak em :p )

Yeah, BF2 is gonna be a bitch to get running Widescreen mode.
 
Well... isn't the 7800GTX just about the fastest video card you can buy? If that card won't handle your native res, none will.

I think you will be ok. They wouldn't sell a monitor that even the best GPU out there couldn't power at its native res - what would be the point?
 
What about games though? Even with the latest graphics cards, next years games on things like the unreal 3 engine will beat the crap out of the rest of your system won't they? So you'll have to turn the res' down or the features down due to the larger screen.
 
All i have to say that if my 6800GT and P4 3.0CGhz 1GB of OCZ DDR500 can handle DOOM3 with HIGHT QUALITY settings at 1920x1200 im pretty sure the GTX will handle games for a long time.So dont worry about it :) And i even play EQ2 at that res on High Quality.
