Okay... well first of all, I read the very small yet tight guide on OCing and for such a quick read it pretty much taught me most of what I want to know. However, When using Prime95 I had my 3rd core fail after about a half an hour, I raised the voltage and I haven't really seen that problem. It told me to refer to Stress.txt, but I put Prime95 on my desktop and I haven't seen a single thing called Stress.txt appear. So i'm not sure what the error is, and it never showed up on my computers search engine. Am I missing some way to see this .txt file?
I'm thinking maybe it was possible there was an error with the program that made it stop? Or was it actually a lack of voltage? I just want to see the text to see what the error was. I'm probably jumping the gun and assuming it's an error message I could decipher. Regardless, i'd like to know how to locate it.

On a side note I installed an Ultima 90 and i'm currently running tests at 8 x 400fsb. My Core temps haven't exceeded 54C which, as I read is apparently good for full load, but my voltages aren't very high to say the least, and If I turn them up much more it would get into the 60's... What is a good safe range to be in with the G0 Q6600? I'd like this sucker to last a while :).

It doesn't matter what the error was, if it had a rounding error or anything of the sort then it wasn't stable. Raise Vcore and try again.

Oh man It just ran for about 45 mins under different settings and totally shut off... that can't be good =/

Okay i'm running a DS4 Rev 2, with Crucial Ballistix(2.2 volts stock at 400fsb). The stupid board defaults my ram to 1.8 volts, and every time a try to add volts to the ram past .30 volts, the damn ddr12v thing fails! No matter how much I add to the vcore while keeping the temps stable it fails once I hit the cpu and memory tests. Any way to solve this issue?

Currently I'm fairly sure I have a stable OC when I turn my ram down to 667 and my cpu to 9 x 333. Crucial appearently runs stock at 1.8 at the FSB frequency so it's very stable even with my VCore at stock voltage as well. Maybe I should just settle for 3.0?
