From the latest MaximumPC:
"Toshiba's flash drive delivers read speeds equivalent to a 10,000rpm Raptor.
Toshiba has developed the world's first solid-state hard drives using NAND flash memory, with plans to slot them into Tablet PCs and sub-traditional platter-based drives
in the near future. Compared with traditional platter-based drives, the flash drives run faster, quieter and sip only 5% of the power required by a mechanical drive. Unfortunately, at this time the capacity is limited to 16Gb."
Is this the future unfolding?
