I had always used Norton 2003 up until about 6 weeks ago. I then formatted, and tried AVG. My computer was noticeably faster. However, I formatted again last night due to a family member downloading something they shouldn't which started to cause several problems. I put Norton 2003 back on again, and it just feels sluggish compared to when I was using AVG.

I'm thinking of putting AVG back on again. Should I?

or how about pc cillin...works great for me...better then avg and mcafee....those are the only ones ive tried

I'd use AVG over Norton anyday. Nortons a major resource hog.

Even if norton is a resource hog, my system can handle it. Its not a hog if you have the power. On older slower system, it does suck the life out of the system. I really found that for Norton to work well, you need a good system hard drive, and good ram.

Cheers,
