Quick question y'all. I have a MSI HD6850. My AC is busted and I'm getting around 33-45 degrees c. Is that normal? What's the highest it can go before it goes to sh*t?

That's you idle temp I assume, either way your temps are find.

Try to keep it under 75 or so.

I dont know how accurate CPUID is, the max I hit while playing WoW and SC2 was about 61c. Question on the Catalyst. Can you even change the speed on the fan? I enabled it but I don't see or hear a change on the fan speed.

You can manually control it through the slider in Catalyst. But even then 60C is fine for that card. Heck, in 5300x1050 my idle temp was 55C and it suffered no harm.
