What should be the normal idle and load temps for a celeron d352 non-oc with stock cooler? I got this guys system to fix dude to restarts every 10 minutes. Turns out the fool who replaced the psu left the 24axt wires over the fan, so the fan was useless for some time.
After 10-15 minutes of power the bios temps only get to like 17C!. The system is basically an ECS board, with 512ddr400, wd80gig drive. The PSU is mounted sideways to it actually blocks most of the hot air being blown from the cpu. Using everest the cpu temps also never go past 22C, i ran speedfan and everest at the same time. Then ran orthos,a bout 5 minutes into orthos the system locked up hard and had to reboot. Also on everest I saw temps dip as los as 8C when idle, but that was just for a second.
I'm going to remount the HSF & apply tuniq tx2. I still have work to do on this machine, but I want to know what the "normals" temps should be. Also when I plugged in my usb drive, the thing rebooted.
