Normal 2.8 wall or bum chip?

Testing a 2.8C right now at 3.25 ghz in prime, stock voltages. It seems to be holding up. Is this about average for this processor? Temps are a bit high, flirting with 60C on stock cooler.
 
I don't know about stock cooling, but the average is about 3.4ghz. Although I've seen them up to about 3.8ghz!

Stock cooler would probably be your problem, stick in a Zalman CNPS7000A-AlCu and your temps should go down.
