I've never case modded/painted before, but am looking forward to it in the near future.
I've read many guides and seen MANY MANY work logs here at [H] and other pc case mod sites.

Anyway... ive acquired an old case from work, and am going to attempt to mod the front bezel as well as a nice paint.

My noob question(s) is focused on front bezel and front portion of the frame. It comes with a 3.5" cage for floppy and hdds, but no where else inside the case has area's to mount hdds.
Im planning on putting 4-6HDDs into the case, but i have no idea?!? Also would like to put a 120mm fan in the front, possibly 2 (undecided).
Then finally relocate the USB ports and power/reset to the top.

Here are some quick pics to get an understanding of the case, and what I'd like to do.
(If pics go down, ill repost when i get home - "self storage" sites are blocked at work  )

Hope you have lots of time. Not sure what you plan to do with it, but older cases like that don't tend to be really super well thought out. At least you will learn a lot.

Normally I would think the HDDs would be beneath the 3.5" bays, but perhaps they want you to mount them in the 3.5" bays and just not remove the front plate for those if there is one. Not sure (as you guessed the pics don't work).

Why so many HDDs?

Was going to use it in place of my current case, have 2HDDs running RAID0 and then 2 others for data.

Well, i guess first thing would be first and to figure out how to mount HDDs and also the front bezel design.... if i cant get past that, they i might scrap the project, and do a nice paint job.

I was planning to learn how to cut/dremel and do a nice paint job on this case.
