Nocona Laumch Date?

[Pack Rat 24]

Anybody have a clue as to when the Nocona Xeons will be launched in the second quarter?

I think it's been moved back to the third quarter. Anandtech just had an article on it.

Yes, Q3 at the earliest...unofficially, of course.

The problem is not many people can afford Xeons. However I wouldn't mind taking that Asus board with the i875 chipset and putting two Xeon MP's on it. That would kick ass. It would just cost to damned much.

anybody have a link to the article?

I'll be building a dual Nocona rig later this winter....can't wait! I REALLY hope Abit decided to make a MB for this chipset and CPU!
