Hey guys,

My drive recently died, for some reason I get frequent bsod's and a few other things.

However, when I took it back to the store I purchased they asked to see my machine, I brought it in. A day later they said that I was unable to a return of refund because my +12V Line is out of the acceptable +/-5% tolerance range, reading 12.9V, and it voids the warranty?

True? :/

Call up the manufacturer of the hard drive and get an RMA from them...but if your hard drive is in an OEM computer (Dell, HP, Gateway, etc), they'll probably tell you to contact your comptuer manufacture...in which case you're back to square 1
