No POST, mobo or PSU?

Hey all,

Skyrim killed my system yesterday and I can't figure out if its the PSU or mobo that died.

Here are the specs:

2500K
MSI P67A-C43
OCZ Modstream 600W PSU
GTX 275

I was playing skyrim and the system crashed (shut off unexpectedly) and it won't POST now. I've tried unplugging everything except the video card and the system will start (mobo LEDs are on and fans running) but no POST and no image on the monitor. I've also tried swapping PSU (used an antec trupower 430) and the system only powers up for a few seconds with this PSU. I've also tried swapping the graphics card (for an old 7800 GT) and clearing CMOS.

The fact that the system fans go on and stay on make me think power supply is bad but swapping to another power supply without success makes me think motherboard is bad.

What do you guys think?

Thanks!

Yeah. The system powers on with everything plugged in. Mobo lights up. Fans work. Etc. just no image on screen and no POST.

New wrinkle: I put the modstream psu into another machine and that computer won't post either but it powers on and runs all the fans full speed.

Chances are the fans are being run off of the 3V/5V rails, but the 12V is blown so no post. I'm suspecting a blown PSU, but the fact that a different PSU won't work on the original rig also points to a bad MoBo. Very well could be that the PSU blew and took your MoBo and maybe some other parts with it to hell.
