No connections are available when logging into Win 8.1

For some reason lately the network icon on the login screen of Win 8.1 is showing no connections are available for maybe 20 seconds. It is preventing me from logging in during that time.

What could be causing this? Before when I would boot I could login no problem but now it seems like Windows isn't seeing a connection right away.

Any ideas?

Have you changed/updated the network drivers? Perhaps try rolling back? Are you on a domain?

Found out that it was the dyndns updater client. Guess it was doing something prior to log in. Uninstalled it and now no more logon delay.
