since "best" doesn't work in the search function could anyone be so kind as to tell me what the best heatsink for a 2500+ is. i remember there is a site somewhere with like a huge index of heatsinks but i cant find it :-\ also anyone have any recomendations on a good upgrade cooling for a 9700 pro
 
I like Zalman. CNPS7000 I think it is? Keeps things cool, and quiet too :)
 
The Zalman is very nice. Any Thermalright or Swiftech cooler will also do a kick-a$$ job of cooling your CPU. The advantage to the Thermalright or Swiftech HSFs is that you can pick whatever fan you like. Super-fast (and super loud) for extreme cooling or slower and quieter.
