Nintendo Switch + Yamaha RX-A660 = No A/V

Has anyone else connected a Nintendo Switch dock to a newer Yamaha receiver? Mine refuses to output anything when connected to the receiver. I originally blamed the HDMI switch, but a nicer one didn't work, either. I connected the dock to the receiver and realized it didn't work at all through the Yamaha.

I've messed with the HDMI settings on the receiver, but nothing seems to help. The Switch works fine when the dock is hooked up directly to the TV (bypassing the receiver). I also have another dock in our bedroom running through a Denon AVR-X2200W and it works perfectly.

Any ideas?

I figured it out. Read somewhere that you have to power down the Switch completely to get it to work in the dock the first time. I don't remember doing that with my other dock, but sure as shit... it worked.
