i have a stupid problem, just wondering if anyone else does.

i have a chaintech 7njl4 motherboard. it's a nforce2 ultra 400 +mcp and all that jazz. well, i use the onboard sound. i got the NVmixer from Nvidia to take over the controls from the old Cmedia stuff. well.... my mic won't work. the audio works fine, the joystick works fine everything is fine but the microphone won't work anymore since i did this. i've uninstalled the old drivers, everything then reinstalled the nvmixer. still nothing, i've looked at the volumes on everything and they're fine. i've tried 3 different mics, nothing. it just doesn't work.

anyone give me some suggestions? other then 'buy a soundcard' thanks.
 
it's all the way it used to be, i first noticed nothing worked when i was playing counterstrike and furiously yelling about the bomb and realized no one heard anything i was saying. then i tried sound recorder and all that jazz... nothing :/ not even with the mute off.
