NForce 2 + High Latency RAM = ?

Well, my replacement motherboard/RAM are coming today, but I had them shipped to my relatives' house where I am staying for vacation. I want to test the RAM (1GB Kingston Hyper-X PC-3700), and the only motherboard I have to test with is an A7N8X deluxe in the system I built for my cousins.The specs on this test system are:

Asus A7N8X Deluxe Rev. 2
Athlon XP Barton 2500+
Corsair XMS PC-3200 (2 * 256MB)
Asus GeForce4 Ti4200
Seagate 40GB 7200RPM
Seagate 120GB 7200RPM
NEC 16x DVD-ROM
LG 24x12x48 CD-RW

The timings on the RAM are 3-4-4-8, and I've heard that NForce 2 boards do not play well with high latency RAM. Do you guys think I will have any trouble testing this RAM out? Please post any advice if you have any experience with NForce 2 boards and/or PC-3500 or up memory.
 
I have an A7N8X and used some Corsair XMS PC4000, 3-4-4-8, was not impressed. Went back to my Crucial PC2100, Far Cry plays better. Just sold the Corsair on eBay - next time I will do my research. For your rig, no point in getting more than PC3200 - it will also save you some cash.
 
it'll 'play nice' but it wont perform as well as the alternative.. you'll be able to test it n/p

If it wont boot, get into the bios with your lower latency ram, and set the settings 'to SPD' or to loose timings so you can get in there
