I've been at this for years, so please don't think I'm a super-noob.
My NF7-S 2.0 BIOS got corrupted on a recent flash, and I had to hot0flash it (see, told you I'm no noob
). Now, when I let it boot into the Silicon Image BIOS, it just hangs there. This SATA RAID array was working before, and now I can't even get into the booting sequence with drives plugged in. Unplugged, everything's cool, but that's not really helpful, now is it? Does anyone have any suggestions, or is it RMA time for my board?
I'm using: 2X Maxtor D740X drives with Serillel 2 adapters on them. I've used every BIOS from 1.0 to 2.1, and even all the modded BIOS'es with different RAID BIOS'es embedded. All have the same problem.
