Alright guys, it is upgrade time soon... I was wondering where to go next in terms of an upgrade. I am planning on buying a friend's 9800xt for $90 when he gets his x800 and then selling my Radeon 9800 Pro to someone else, but other than that, I don't know what else to upgrade? Would another stick of ram help? Shuold I start working towards that? Or should I go for some cooling? I don't really want to overclock until my CPU is starting to get outdated and I can run pretty much any game I ahve playn at a solid 100 FPS on highest settings... Well, what do you guys recommend? Can having too much ram hurt?

I think your system looks fine. More than 1 gig is not really necessary right now anyways.

Since you're getting a 9800XT for such a dirt cheap price, I hope you'll sell the 9800 Pro at a dirt cheap price. *hint hint* :D
 
Everything looks fine for now. And with you getting that 9800XT for such DIRT CHEAP price you'll probably get way more for the 9800 pro than 90 bucks.
 
well i dont really use speakers as my family has 3 computers in the same room and they dont want to hear all my battle sounds from my games... so i just use really good headphones...

How far are you willing to go? Upgrading to a AXP 3200+ would be the best you could do CPU-wise. But if you want to "future-proof", the money could be better spent elsewhere. Nice job on that $90 XT. ~$500 on mine
 
I think you should stick the money you were gonna use to upgrade into a savings account until the 939's come out of the stratosphere.

cept you MAY want to consider, if you want faster loading times, a SATA raptor... for os/game installs... and use your current drive for data storage. that's the only idea I have to make your system run better. You are basically in the same situation I am with my box.
