Wife bought me some 3tb drives and 4tb MyBook. Problem is my Mobo is non- UEFI. I was going to get a new mobo with UEFI. I was looking at the Asus P8Z77-V Pro and ASRock Z77 Extreme6. Overkill? I will also post in the mobo section.

Is there a better graphics card I can upgrade to that won't bottle neck my system? Bottle necks still confuse me.
I do play BF3 just got BF4 as a gift (haven't played yet) and other FPS.

Here is my system:
Intel i5 2500k / Asus P8Z68-V LX / G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB 1866 / MSI R6950 Twin Frozr III PE/OC 2GB / SeaSonic X750 Gold / CoolerMaster HAF 922 mid / CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus.

Thanks in advance for the help!

EDIT: I was hoping to keep the cost at around $400 as I MAY have to buy two mobos and graphics cards.

First thing its that you do not need to change your motherboard, because the p8z68 its UEFI, i don't know why you said its non UEFI, so if you want card in the -400$ i can recommend the GTX 770 if you are in the red side, then i recommend the R9 280X (if you can find at a good price).. You can also sell that 6950 at a good price due to the mining fever..

Thanks! I don't know how I missed I already had UEFI.....embarrassed....

Yeah I was about to say...I've used that board and it should be good to go for UEFI. There is a setting somewhere in the BIOS to enable UEFI or legacy, although you may need to flash to the latest version from Asus' website.

As far as a GPU - I like the GTX 770 for that price range as well, although a lot of it depends on the games you play and what resolution you play at. It also depends if you're nitpick about playing everything on ultra. Generally speaking, the IQ differences between high and ultra are non existent, so you could get a lower end card and be just fine - simply use FXAA and high settings as opposed to ultra with say a GTX 760. Or if you're OCD about always playing on ultra settings, then one could make a strong argument for a 770 or 780. You could also consider AMD cards in that price range, although if you're in the US or Canada NV is probably the better bet. (due to cryptocoin mania)

Since you know you don't need a new mobo, up that budget to $500 and grab a GTX 780.
