I ordered a complete system from NewEgg this morning at 11AM. I havent received a shipping notification yet. I paid $225.50 before $20 rebate for a WD 74 Raptor; I hit newegg.com just now to check my order status and noticed the WD 74 Raptor dropped to $215.00 before $20 rebate!

Can NewEgg credit the difference since I just ordered this morning? Thanks, Randy
 
Why dont you ask NewEgg??

Anyyywho.. try to see if you can cancel your order and re-order it.
 
I don't really want to cancel and reorder. I checked everywhere on the site but cant find anything. NewEgg wont reply to me tonight, will they? Lots of brains on this forums.. somebody will know ;)
 
make sure u contact them tonite via-email or something, but something similar happened to me and newegg actuall refunded me the difference, but that was only because I contacted prior to processing the order. Otherwise cancel and reorder, if u like. You should probably call first thing to confirm and follow up also.
 
Newegg is very good on the phone as well, so that might be worth trying.

I tried to order last week but something went funny with the order. i can't complain now because it was $18 less for the order a week later.
 
Yay. NewEgg e-mailed me 6AM this morning and said they will credit me within a few days. Let's hope they actually do. :p Does anybody know how long after you order, when a price drops you can still get credit?
 
My experience has been that computer item prices are not guarenteed at all. It sorta sucks but it's completely understandable. Prices can fluctuate on a daily basis.

Thankfully, NewEgg is the shining star of online retailers.
 
Good job Randy. and PROPS for Newegg. That is why they are the best. They know keeping customers happy keeps them number 1
Now if they only offered frequent customer specials...hmmm....now that would be nice.:D
 
you wont cancel your order and re-order it for 1 of 2 days more waiting? i know it seems like for ever because i was hoping to get my ram today but i guess its coming tomorrow.. but anyways for that much savings i would definetly wait :) you should to!:D
