Do they no longer have a dead pixel policy? It looks like you can return a monitor just like any other item - 30 Day Standard Return.

Well, if I just didn't care for the monitor I'd expect to pay the restocking fee. If it had dead pixels not sure how NE would treat it.

They'll tell you to contact the manufacturer about it. Since all manufacturers have different opinions on how many dead pixels are acceptable, newegg doesn't get involved. If you want to return it (because of the dead pixels or otherwise) they'll more than likely charge you a restocking fee

So they wouldn't do a replacement at all? You have to go directly to the manufacturer? I guess that's why I bought from Amazon.

Correct. If you're a longtime customer or something, they might be willing to cut you some slack, but AFAIK, they won't touch it. I believe that most stores (retail or electronic) have a similar policy. They probably don't want to get stuck with a monitor that the manufacturer won't take back

HP's policy was amazing. I bought my ZR24W from Cost Central, and it had a dead pixel. I called HP's business customer service (it's a pro level monitor), and within 5 minutes they had scheduled a site visit for replacement.

Someone showed up the next day with a brand new panel, hooked it up, tested it, and left, 15 minute job.

Amazing service.

I think newegg's monitor return/replacement policy was changed i believe, i asked newegg with chat two days ago and they said as long as you are replacing it they won't charge you restocking fee. although you might just wann contact them and make sure of it.
