Anyone know of a place that could test a power supply with a millimeter (?). I bought an Antec case around Christmas and now my processor is toast and the mobo is acting very weird. I am pretty sure the processor is not due to the power supply, but the mobo might be and before I install new parts, I would like to be sure I don't have a faulty PSU. Any suggestions?

barring a friend that would do it for free
what youd likely be charged would be near what a cheap one would run
uf course its accuracy isny gping tp be that great
but then "testing" a PSU isnt as simple as it seems either

http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/other/display/psu-methodology.html

why dont we try deductive reasoning first
please list the config it was powering in full
the amps rated per rail on the supply
guess at average case temp, if your using a UPS
and the config in full your planning on powering

Thanks for your help. My config was this:

MSI K7N2 Delta-ISR
AMD Athlon XP Barton 2500+
Corsair 1 GB 3200 CAS 2.5 memory
WD 120GB HDD PATA w/cooler
Lite-On 16X DVD Black
Lite-On DVD+/-RW 16x
GeForce 5700LE
Sound Blaster Live! 5.1

The Power Supply is an Antec SL350s. The rails are:

+5V 35A
+12v 21A
+3.3V 28A
-5V .5A
-12V .8A
+5V SB 2A

According to the mobo, the case was running at about 80F and the processor was running at 140F.

The config I will be running is the same as above except I will be replacing the mobo with the Biostar in my sig and an A64 2800+

What do you think?
