New XSPC Case

hmmmm ... in the market for a new case for watercooling. I was already looking at the XSPC kits. This might fit nicely ... I wish they would release the final specs in that thread instead of teasing us :)

What case? The pics barely show us anything other than some anodized aluminum (or alloy) with a few tidbits. Till we see pricing and more than some teaser images, it's all hype with little substance. On the flip side, it's pretty damn cool to see so many new companies popping up in the high-end aluminum case arena. Hopefully that translates to better products and/or lower prices for us consumers.

Ugh that's so ugly with all those thumb screws sticking out all over the place. The tower needs a larger window too. The proportions look too small.

And once again I'm going to complain about the too boxy look. Throws some rounded edges in there!!!
 
Those cases woulda been pretty cool ~5-10 years ago, but the most novel thing they offer nowadays is their claim of "flat pack"/IKEA style shipping to save costs. The anodized aluminum and wheels are nice touches and of course massive rad space is the main selling point. Compared to other cases, £349.99 inc VAT seems a wee bit high depending on build quality/features (got dust filters?), but at least they left the fan options up to the owner. Thumbscrews all over the place looks like crap.

Their target market is watercooling enthusiasts who overclock stuff like 4 gpus and 2 cpus so their pricing is reasonable for that niche (vs what those people spend on other parts, these cases are inexpensive). Outside of that specific group, my guess is most people would instead opt to catch a sale on a 700/800d, tj07 or something not meant for 5x 120mm rads.
 
Too.Many.Thumbscrews.

I keep my tower down under the desk near my legs. I'd be afraid to catch clothing on them and damage my clothes, or pull the tower over.

If they have a sleeker option, that'd be worth considering for me. I love my Tagan Black Pearl and my PC-V1000... nice and sleek.
 
Zero innovation here. That tower looks like a LittleDevil case got hit with an ugly stick.

I seriously like the LittleDevil cases... in their entirety, with one exception... price! I'ma seriously have to save for a bit to get one.
 
I agree with most everyone here. The aesthetics (namely the plethora of thumbscrews) are sub-par, and the price is pretty disappointing to me; I was expecting something at least $150 cheaper. Oh well, it just leaves me even more satisfied with my 700D!
