Hi all. I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules here. You all have a great eye for photography and I'd like to know what you all think of my site.

It's not completely finishes as I still have to update the pricing info and other things, but this is what I have so far

http://www.starrphotographs.com

Please let me know what you think. (I'm working on the splash page and will have that finished tonight)

Thank you in advance.

Again, I apologize if I'm breaking any rules and I'll delete if I am.

Cool site! I like the layout and interface handling - nice tweening and animation between the screens. Photo backgrounds on the pages are very nice work-samples and don't detract from the text you're trying to communicate.

A few technical issues I experienced; several of the pages wouldn't load for me:
- none of the gallery pages loaded; I was able to open the gallery-selection screen, but clicking on any of the gallery title headers got stuck on a 0% loaded screen.
- The "about us" section simply went to a blank yellow block.
- The "Starr Photography" title in the top-right corner of the page gets cut off if you scale the display window too small; if possible, I'd try and code this so it stays on-stage at smaller sizes as well, in case any low-res users visit the site.

"Home" (photos only, no text shows), "Contact," and "Things to Know" all looked good. Only other thing I would suggest is to add a little text into the Home screen slide-show to indentify your business a little and let people know what they're looking at - just a sentence or two and the top-left or maybe a couple words to go along with each photo here would go a long way (aligning the slide-show to stage-right would make more room for this).

Good luck w/ the photo business! Have to admit I'm a little jealous of people who are already making $$ on this stuff - need to hurry up and get my own work up to this level as well.

Thanks mad..

the pages don't load because I haven't loaded any of the photos up there yet. I added some this morning, so you should be able to see more of our work up there.

I'm still waiting on my sister-in-law to upload her stuff so that we can complete the site and get some of the package information up there. But, I'll be adding more and more each day and with new clients I'll have more material.

I'm shooting tonight at a restaurant event, so I should get some shots.

I also added the calender this morning too.
