hey i have a thermaltake shark case with 2 220cfm delta's and a 280 cfm fan in the top, obviously i dont care about how loud my case is... i want to watercool it anyways, this is what i want to get...

polarflo tt series cpu, vga, and chipset waterblock, with pump
black ice extreme 3 fan radiator with 3 220cfm fans to cool it and put it on the bottom of the case
1/2 tygon tubing
clear 2 drive bay resevior

is there anything better that you could suggest or is this setup pretty good?

you should post watercooling questions in the watercooling forum.

that rad and those fans are overkill by a mile. they won't help you to stay a whole lot cooler than a double heatercore with two sane fans.

there is very little reason to use a 3 fan rad except for the ability to use nearly silent fans, or to do thermoelectric cooling with sane fans.

get over to the watercooling forums and get yourself straightened out.

Id suggest something else besides the Polarflo if youre going for better performance, but if you have the money & like the looks, then go for the Polarflo. If not then:

Aquaextreme 50z
Whitewater/Storm G4/G5 (good luck finding)
Maze 4 low profile w/ ramsinks/NV68 if you like the look & have the extra $
Chipset blocks restrict flow too much, just get a good passive heatsink thatll fit.
BIX 2 is plenty
Remember to get Tygon 3603 1/2"id-3/4"od (1/8" walls)

I dont know how you can still hear over all of those Deltas, if you ever feel like being able to not hear your computer a block away, just do the 5v/7v trick, Deltas usually work fine undervolted to be significantly quieter.

even 7 volted, those particular fans will probably still be over 60 db.

dtek whitewater is a good block that is easier to get than the stormG4/G5.

if you want to use normal fans and save your ears some punishment, then just use a black ice pro 2, with normal 35 db fans on a controller.

if you want to use those ear-destroyers, then you are one of the very few people who will get added benifit out of the black ice xtreme, as compared to the pro.

damn, i didnt realize there was a watercooling forum,
i said i dont care about the nose of my fans, i always have my headphones on when im on my pc and its really not as loud as you would expect, considering i have another fan blowing at me that is louder than all those combined, and i know the rad 3 is overkill but thats what my entire computer is, is overkill and thats how i like it. A good example of that would be that im getting all this watercooling stuff and yet i dont even overclock and have no plan to in the future because who really needs to overclock an fx-55

i live with 44 db panaflos, and i have lived with a 55 db delta 92mm. i think that i have a pretty good idea of how loud those fans are. if they are not too loud for you, that's fine. they are FAR too loud for me.

so, since your computer is a joke that exists for the purpose of being over the top, and this watercooling exist for the purpose of being over the top, this whole thing is just one big joke, that i don't want any further part of.

have fun blowing your cash, and making noise.

I suggest a 77' Bonneville (or similar) heater core instead of a BIX. They perform better and are far cheaper.

like im the only one out there who has put water cooling into a system and didnt overclock, if you think about it, everyone who has an fx 55 is over the top, you dont need anything more than a 3500.
