damn...just recommended a camera for our comapny. this looks very, very nice

congrats on the purchase

For the rebel were you concerned about the weight of the 24-105 on the mount? Or did it feel solid?

Ahhh the 5D the camera I wish I had.

I have the 20d which don't get me wrong is a nice camera but its got the 1.6 crop which sucks where the 5D doesn't and is full frame to give you better pictures!

Nice grab.

Very nice DarkTiger... now get out there and show us what you can do with this bad boy!! Wish I could afford something like that as a "toy" but my toy will more than likely be a used 30D when I can find a decent price on one. Fred Miranda and POTN here I come!

No 24-105 feels good on the XT/XTi, infact I sometimes use my 70-200 on the XT/XTi.

Funny you should say that, I just GAVE my brother my 30D for the XTi (long story, but my wife thought the 30D was to heavy :( ). So I figured my brother would love the upgrade...

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn you, you could have given that to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting though, had my fiancee hold both the 40D and XTi and she felt the same way as your wife, but I feel the opposite, the XTi just feels small in my hands. Like I am clawing it to death, 40D felt much better.

I agree, that is why a lot of people get the battery grip with the XT/XTi just because of the size/weight. It feels like a toy, especially when you go from a 30D/40D back to a XT.....
