Hello there everyone, I'm new to case modding, I have done a few custom computers with transplants of boards but never touched modding the case. Is there any certain place to start, I always thought doing a clear side case was were ya started but i think i might be around about that now. An if I was to start there how would I go about doing it?! Sorry bout the spelling errors, an grammer errors.

Start with some external fan holes, a side window, then perhaps move onto painting. With these basic techniques, you can make just about any PC pretty damn nice.

What case is the one you're trying to mod?
Eventually post some pictures, ideas are infinite ;)

im just going to work on a really old p4 case i have lieing around as practice. as for pictures i dont think yall wanna see first versions of my modding lol its lots of paper XD

and thanks for the help you two :D you 2 probibly kick started my modding lol

Come on, there's nothing to be shy of, we all started somewhere. We have to know what we're dealing with.

my first mod was done with snips cutting the back grill for better airflow. was very sharp and dangerous... ;p then moved on to dremel cutting side fan holes in cheap cases for better CPU intake cooling. then moved to sidewindows with actual molding and fitting, none of that double sided cheap way out windows hack :p later i moved with dremel in hand for more modding and hacking and cutting :D
then onto video cards and cpu lapping and etc... never done painting :( dont have the room for it...

oh oh oh ! and cable sleeving and modding, and i forget what else :p

just post pics! we also have a ghetto mod section if you wanna put it there... i love ghetto mods :D

i'm waiting till i finish my degree so i can move to a beter payscale so i can get a house and room to mod, then i'll actually be building my own box from scratch :D with a dremel and pliers!!! lol

where would this getto mod place be? id really like to check it out if possible.
