I don't mean to be posting a whole bunch and taking up a lot of room in this forum, but I have a lot of questions and you all seem way more knowledgeable than me in this area. For those of you that view my other post or those that didn't here my new take on the whole thing: I'd like to have a watercooled computer that for right now will only be a CPU cooling system.

My questions are as follows: 1)Should I cool my NB as well? My mobo is already running 250 FSB...is this a problem? It doesn't seem like it is overheating but i'd rather be safe than sorry.

2) Why are the Eheim pumps that do 150 g/h as expensive or more expensive than the hydor ones that do 350 g/h? are the hydor ones not worth it?

3)How muchmore is a dual or triple radiator going to help me?

4) Anyone know of a GPU block that works with an AIW x800XT? I'm pretty sure the ones that work with the x800xts will work with the AIW...the heatsinks that are stock look similar.

5) anyone have any ideas on how to mount this on a tsunami dream case? Thanks so much for your help once again

If you're just cooling the GPU it'll be the same (I think)... if you're looking for a whole card cooler to hit the RAM too you're probably out of luck. The AIW's have extra stuff on them that will probably get in the way.

No, imho cooling the chipset has very minimal gains if any, and only adds to more un necessary restrictions to your loop

Depending on what size tubing 3/8" or 1/2" I'd recomment the MCP350 for 3/8" or the MCP655 for 1/2"

3)How muchmore is a dual or triple radiator going to help me?

There are a lot of variables (# of fans, location of radiator, etc.) and normally you will have better temps w/ duel or triple rad.

recommendations here (all depending on your case, cooling expectations, # of WB in your loop) BIXII/BIXIII or Thermochill 120.2/120.3

4) Anyone know of a GPU block that works with an AIW x800XT? I'm pretty sure the ones that work with the x800xts will work with the AIW...the heatsinks that are stock look similar.

Again imho, cooling the heatsinks are not necessary, a DD (dangerden) Maze 4 or the Swiftech are great GPU coolers and use them w/ OCZ heatsicks w/ either of these blocks you can volt mod your x800xt and acheive crazy mhz

5) anyone have any ideas on how to mount this on a tsunami dream case? Thanks so much for your help once again

sorry can't help you there, but i'm sure someone here can point you in the right direction

Best of luck

1. im interested in this chipset cooling myself cuz i figure when you start runnin over 250 you might need the cooling right? so im FOR that (but note: im very new to WC)

4. it should work its the same and the ati theater chip is so far off to the side that even if you get one of those huge blocks that covers everything it should still be fine. if not you could just get one of those good gpu coolers that just cover the core and put ram sinks on the mem chips and be A-OK

5. you lookin for specific diagrams or pictures of examples? or you think its gonna be hard? i mena im down with saving yourself some serious headache by seeing a really well done example in a tsunami case. that, i do not have, but im sure someone does.

At that speed, I would. Usually NB watercooling isn't necessary but it depends on what's currently cooling it. Depending on the board, the stock HSF might be enough.

2) Why are the Eheim pumps that do 150 g/h as expensive or more expensive than the hydor ones that do 350 g/h? are the hydor ones not worth it?

Eheim pumps are much more reliable and have a higher MTBF. There's a definite trade-off between power and reliability, and most WC setups don't need close to the amount of power the Hydors produce.[/quote]

3)How muchmore is a dual or triple radiator going to help me?

More surface area in the radiator = more chance for heat dissipation = lower temperatures. How much of a difference it will make again depends on what it's cooling.
