okay so i decided to trade in my dell pc for something with a lil more style and did alot of research and thought i picked the right system. here is what i figured i picked up the p5e-vm DO board didn't realized that there was a difference between the do and hdim for what ever you call it. this is gonna be a gaming machine with a ati 1950 in it. so here is the system build i got any suggestions would be great i don't see many with this board for some reason not sure if i made a mistake. another thing i am not sure what cooler to get and how heat is gonna be so here is the build now that im done rambling.

already have a e4400 but no cooler, looking to get around 3GHz outta it

was thinking of picking up a xp120 thermalright and flipping the PS around to that the 120mm on it would suck the heat off the cooler would that work? i really don't want to go with the blue orb but that looks like the only other option to fit. you guys think a xp120 will fit on the motherboard without getting in the way of other stuff? anyway any help would be awesome

any help or suggestions would be great should have it ready to roll monday or tues

after much research looks like i went with the nt06-lite specs say it is only 78mm tall which should be fine seeing as most are saying i have 100mm clearance on the cooler just hope nothing on the board will get in the way should have the board today from newegg to kinda measure the NM cooler cause it looks huge in the pictures

I would avoid the DO board. You'll either want to wait for the HDMI board to come out on Newegg or get the p5k-vm board. I'm not sure that Mushkin ram is that great any more.
Also I'd get a Corsair Power supply if that case takes standard atx. 520hx with modular cables to keep things uncluttered.

what is the difference between the DO and HDMI isn't it just the onboard video cause i will be using the 1900 card in the system? and isn't the p5k-vm still the g33 chipset? this one i was reading should have the the Q35 which will support the newer chips.. i don't know if im right but

NT-06 Lite works great in an SG-01 with overclocked C2D, with a PSU with bottom 120mm fan right above it.

k thanks i ordered and and should have it in today hopefully it fits with no issues on the pke-vm DO board.. .hope i didn't make to much of a mistake on the board
