If i buy one im getting it customized from Shuttle, i just want a small little pc i can throw in my big lcd ( 24inch ) and just enjoy it..

My Requirements for the x100 / any small form of system is
; XP
; atleast 1gig
; atleast 160gb hard drive ( i prefer ide , way silent )
; dvd-rom ( but dvd-rw i need )
; decent videocard

And i came up to this as soon dad comes back.

shuttle x100 is expensive for what you get.
You can also get macmini and run windows.

Don't get pentium mobile 'm' get Intel Core Duo or even core2duo cpu for mobile version.

~ bah ! $1000 for core duo is so expensive

I'd seriously consider the Aopen MiniPC

Aopen and Mac mini only support 2.5" mobile drives and the top capacity right now for those are 160GB and will cost you and arm and a leg. And they both only sport the GMA950 versus the X100's ATI X1400.

for processor and videocard i dont care about but i do want 2gb of ram and a big hard drive, But hey i can sacrifice the hard drive space and get 160gb or something lower but 2gig ram is needed.. i wish if they can compare the x100 with an mac-mini or so?

Don't forget you can get a nice external harddrive.

I love how requirements change anytime someone suggests something new...

...but I would agree with those changes. No external drive, at least 120GB, 64-bit and 2GB for Vista. But Vista also wants a 256MB DX9 card, so I don't know if any of those systems are going to work.

Well, you have to assume 64-bit content will be available eventually. I'm sticking with XP until I have a reason to upgrade.

Its dissapointing that Shuttle doesn't offer more powerful graphics options, especially considering they say there is no problems running an MXM X1800 in the X100. (Oh god the X's are invading)
