Finally Shuttle is making a decent-looking case for Core 2 Duo!

It's not available yet, but I guess it would be pretty smiliar to new G2 3200 that supports C2D - Not a stellar performance, but great-looking SFF. I know Shuttle has that bloated P2 for C2D, but I can't stand that ugly case! I hope they eventually put a better motherboard with OC potential!
 
I hope the placement of the PCI-E slot is better to support cards with larger heatsinks.
 
i have a feeling the nVidia G80 series may not work in it, but it sure does look nice.
 
Shuttles have good PSU's but the G80's power requirements are pretty insane.
 
For nearly $900 please tell me that comes with a CPU installed?

Otherwise that's a ripoff. I can understand an SFF price premium, but not to the tune of nearly $900

I don't think his link had a price - just "coming soon". And thanks for the heads up - I've been waiting for another Shuttle Core 2 option.

Link leads to Shuttle's system site - so it's a complete system.
 
Yeah that was pretty much all the info I could find on the G5 3200 (C2D system) system (Page with brief description and Coming Soon deadlink). It's been a while, but Shuttle has been selling their bare-bones through retailers (New Egg, etc) and their eBay stores, and selling complete systems directly from their web site. So you won't find any ordering info or pricing on their barebones on the shuttle web site.

I'm checking the G5 page daily to see if the "Coming Soon" has changed :D
 
So it looks like they updated the pic - now it has a VFD. Hopefully it will be released soon..
