New server build

The T20 will do fine but you're going to need to add a HDD controller of some kind (only 4 SATA slots) and and fasten these somehow as there are only 4 * 3.5" and 2 * 2.5" bays available.

Are you sure those drives have a 5 year warranty? I looked up that part number directly on Serverpartdeals.com and they sell it for several prices, none of them $120 (all more) and the warranty length seems to be the only difference. The Amazon listing says, "With Seller Warranty!" I'd guess they're pulls with no warranty from Hitachi.

Looks like I'd be locked in to 4 drives. Also it says up to raid 5? Does that mean no support for 6 or 10?

Also I think your choice in HDD is fine, but you should probably look into getting an SSD for boot device, maybe an older/used 60gb/120gb drive

Definitely considering the i3 as well. What is the benefit of this case over the one that I was looking at?

Yikes! Anyone have a link to a suggested hard drive. I'm thinking of 6 x 3tb in raid 6 or 4 x 4tb in raid 10.

FWIW, i3's support ECC in a server board. i5's and i7's don't.

Are you trying to get the cheapest quality drive for the RAID arrays or are you willing to pay a little more for quality?
 
If you will be expanding beyond 4 drives I'd really recommend hot-swap, either part of the case or via 5-in-3 add-ins or similar.

I decided to stick with the same brand of your original case, but the one I chose usually goes on sale for around $80, has noise dampening, better cable management capabilities and gives you the option to add a disk drive if you need one in the future.
 
Will have you spare parts on hand if something dies or goes tits up?
How much outage time can this company afford because of off the shelf blackbox with no same day or next day support?
