Specs in Sig. Most mobo hold is pc 2700. That ram is cheaper than most, (canadian bucks) and seems to be decent. Also, via www.vibecomputers.com can you see anything else that is better that for the price? I was thinking of getting another 512 sooner or later, maybe when something big in the world comes out, (prescott, something else) Ideas?

Thanks

I dont like OCZ RAM especially the slower speed stuff. Their newer PC3500 and PC4000 is a little better but i just dont prefer OCZ because of their past and the fact that in reviews that have pushed their RAM it can barely run at its rated speeds error-free.

I would go for something from Mushkin, Corsair, or Kingston instead.

You can get the Mushkin lvl 2 PC3200 512MB for $128 US.

ahh, OCZ seemed to do well in the anandtech.com search for the memory holy grail, but many old timers on the forum will tell you that OCZ used to and might still practice shady techniques i.e. paying for good reviews etc. , so many people advocate staying away from OCZ all together.

also, if PC2700 is the best your motherboard can handle, upgrade. You are using an Intel for Pete's sake. once again intel <3 bandwith ^_^ so get a better motherboard and some better RAM like Geil or Mushkin or Corsair, all make high quality products.
(check out the anandtech review, linky here: http://www.anandtech.com/memory/showdoc.html?i=1839 )
