Well I'm going to be building a new system on a budget.

So far it looks to be an Opteron 144 w/ DFI-Ultra D and a 7900GT

Since I'm on a budget I was told that this PSU should be sufficient enough

If anyone has an other suggestions that are around that price I'd appreciate it, also I do plan on OC'in my system. Thanks ahead of time for the replies and help.

One more thing , my current PSU I'm running is this http://www.bjorn3d.com/read.php?cID=242

You're on a budget yet have an Opteron 144 and 7900GT...

As good as the AX-450 is, it is only a PSU of basic spec compliance. If you're looking to do some more serious overclocking, you might want to look elsewhere. 29A on the +12V is not bad, but still.

Well I'm on a 500-600 dollar budget, those fall under that category, if you can recommend something better I'm all ears. I'd rather spend out of my budget which I can do instead of getting something I might regret later. I'm a nub when it comes to PSU's only linking to what I was told/given as possible advice.

just my 3 cents worth here. I understand your on a budget and all, and I my self am still learning about PSU usage and what to or not get, BUT If I was you I would somehow find the Extra $$$ to get a PSU that was at least 500 watt or more. Just to give you an idea, I have this PSU now and yes my system is very stable and all, BUT It just is not enough to run my NEW x1900 xtx, when I bought my current PSU I did so with the thought of getting a better Graphics card down the road and thinking it would be able to handle it. Now I have to buy a NEW PSU because I did not take more time to do research and really look at the PSU voltage rating as well as the reviews of what others have or why they don't a certain PSU and I did not ask more questions, which im paying for now
Also take a few minutes to read through the PSU Sticky it is very helpful info.
Good luck with your new build :)

EDIT: I did a quick search fer ya on newegg Forton
