oc'd to 2.5ghz - 250fsb 4xmulti 166 divider @1t stock voltage on everything

cpu @ idle 32c cpu @ max load 6hours 43c

Temps are fine so take the volts up to 1.4 and I bet 2.7 could be stable. :) What cpu cooler are you using? Good luck.

Best HSF evar, sn25p hehe stock

its got 4-5 heatpipes with a fan blowing on heatpipes and top of HS, and the heatpipes run up into a series of fins, that have another fan attached to it cooling that

i run the fans at 25-50%, idle and oc (unless the computer for some reason hits 50c, the fans wont change, and at that point they all max out

im gonna leave the voltage alone for now, actually i might oc it with voltage inmcrease to see what it can do, but i like my computer silent so i dont want to increase the fan speeds

oh man, you owe it to yourself to give it a little more voltage. judging by that load temp it'll be more than fine without having to up the fan speed.

rofl, turns out my current bios revision doesnt allow for more than 250fsb, lame eh? i know a good way to fix it tho o_O

so i changed to older bios 2.7@1.55 was its top 48c load, running 2.6 1.475 215fsb for all time use, 43c load

nice temps!
If you stay below 55C you are safe.
Below 50C is extremely safe.

Dont you wonder how much faster it will go ? ;)

Actually with such a difference in voltage needed for such a little gain in mhz, he's probably near his ceiling. Good call dropping it to 2.6 with lower volts, it will net you lower temps and decrease the strain on the cpu. Congrats on the good oc!

what programs are U using to OC??? Im playing with ClockGEN and AiBooster to play with speed and voltage. Im starting to play with memory clocks today.

For some reason when I get to 2.3 I get big freezes. Temps are good, but system will freeze. Im at a comfortable 2.75Ghz, so ima leave that and boost mem voltage to 2.7V and go from 2.5-3-3-7 to a 2-3-3-7 at 1T and see if that wont allow a further OC to 2.3 and above.

I want to see what programs U use, as I need one that will allow voltage and clock to be raised and lowered independantly. AiBooster is good, but it wont allow a downclock without freezing. When it does that, it doesnt save, so you have to start over by resetting BIOS. ClockGEN allows downclock, but you cant control voltage control.....Its a huge ass quagmire....

Thanks
