well, i have this old vidcard, and no agp slots in my pc (just thought id tell u b4 you guys recommend upgrade)
and yes i am planing on building a new pc when tax season rolls around, probably buy an ati 9600xt or 9800xt or maby ill stick with NVIDIA if i find a good nvidia that can outperform an ATI card.

any way my question is, as i mentioned above i have this old NVIDIA RIVA TNT2/TNT2 PRO 32 MB PCI.
and i currently have the 45.23 Detonator fx drivers, and i was looking on the nvidia page and aparently they changed the name of the drivers to ForceWare, but any way, would i benefit at all from geting this new drivers? the 53.03

my system specs are:
p3 933MGHZ
192 SDRAM
40 gig HDD

as you might be able to tell i dont really play high end games like bf1942 or COD because of my lack of RAM and Lowend Vidcard, i mostly play half life and quake mods along with serious sam SE and other older titles (not so old) although i can somewhat play UT2k3 with all the bling bling turned down, but i just want to know if this new drivers will do ANYTHING for me, or will it be just another driver update?
i dont know if these new drivers have some sort of performance enhansment for older cards like mine is what im saying.

It doesn't hurt to get the latest drivers. You most likely won't see any improvements with your video card.

NOPE, you probably wont benefit from any of the new drivers from the past 2 years!!

The new drivers mostly improve the newer card's performance. With a few core improvements to everything. But mostly optimizing the paths/codes for the newest cards. Pre-geforce like TNT could even get worse performance from upgrading!!

It doesnt hurt to install them though. Just dont expect 50% improvement! :) They COULD contain bug fixes for recent games, but probably will have a null effect on your cards performance.
