New Intel inf files

Hmmm... I have a IT7 motherboard with a USB keyboard and mouse. I got all the way to the option to restart and my mouse and keyboard were dead. I had to hit the reset button on my computer and this caused all sorts of problems. I had to boot from the Windows CD and go into the recovery console :(

Any idea on how to get this installed without problems?

Answer to my own question....

infinst_enu.exe -a -b -s

Ran it like that and it installed and rebooted itself automatically. The -s command is for silent mode so you don't actually have to accept the license agreement and click through everything else.

whats the -a -b for?

And I thought they wont install unless its the 1st time you try to. (can't install over old .inf files)

You have to use the -a command if you install from the EXE version. It allows you to then use other command like options. If you download and install the ZIP version the -a command is totally different. The -b command is the command that tells the program to automatically reboot.
