New DVD Burner Issues

Just got a new Samsung SATA DVD Burner for christmas, just installed it, enabled SATA in my BIOS, but for some reason the drive still doesn't show up in My Computer, is there something I'm missing, do I need some SATA drivers for my MOBO or something else ?

If the system you're using is the one in your sig then forget about it. I played hell tryin to get a sata dvd drive to work on a k8t800 board. I just thought it was because the POS was a soltek. For a board that old save yourself the headache and stick with IDE
Ofcourse I could be wrong. And if you figure it out I'd like to know for future reference...

So I found the SATA Drivers for my Mobo's chipset, i have a VIA Chipset, but it gives me a list of different types of SATA Drivers and I dont kno which one to pick - heres the website http://www.via.com.tw/en/support/drivers.jsp the mobo i have is a MSI NEO 2 FIR, with the K8T800PRO Chipset

after A little bit of research and googling lol i found the correct drivers, installed them, reboot my system and now the DVD Burner works perfect ! so yea, just go to the VIA Driver website and download the correct SATA/RAID drivers, and install them, reboot, and it will work (the website i gave the link to in my last post is where you want to get the drivers for the SATA/RAID)
