New Digital Camera, Test Photo

So I got a new digital camera for taking pictures of video cards, and I snapped this one of a rose in my back yard:

It's a Samsung S630. It cost me about $150 with a carrying case, 2 x 1 GB SD cards, and a battery charger with 4 NiMH batteries..
 
Nice, but it looks a bit overexposed?

I think something like this would good a long way for taking photos of video cards.
 
Well, it was taken outside without any kind of setup or preparation.
