I am building a new machine and it wont post

Amd athlon II x4
msi nf750 g55
cosair ram 2x2gb ddr3
muskin ram 2x2gb ddr3

I reset cpu, unplugged all cards, reset power cables, tried each sets of ram by themselves. It still wont post, lights areon, fan spins, no post :( help

Try resetting your CMOS jumper with the battery out, and wait a few seconds to reset the BIOS. If that doesn't work then it's probably your motherboard.

reset with battery in mult times, ill try with it out.

Make sure you put it back in after waiting with it out. So you can save any future BIOS settings you may want, as well as the date/time. it's up to you though. Did you hear any beeps from your PC?

Try starting the PC without the 4-Pin CPU power cord plugged. I know it sounds sort of stupid, but i've read a few reviews where ppl have had problem with it intact. if the problem persists and doesn't work it's got to be your mobo. Hopefully someone else here can chime in.

Tried this, same results :( im gonna try one more time toniht else back it goes, wonder how fast they can getbme a new baord?
 
So im postig on msi forum at the same time, just like here....a day later the only response I get from msi is stop bumping your thread..wow they care, I will go buy an asus.

Update: they locked my thread lol

I Would buy a Biostar over a MSI at this point. There shit may still be pretty, but QC has seemingly gone way down on there motherboards lately.

Edit: also dont get anything with a nvidia chipset at this point.. There considerable slower then there AMD chipset counterparts

Another good budget vendor would be gigabyte. Pretty reliable and have good support as well. Sorry about your mobo man GL.

The asus I ordered has onboard radeon...I hope this all pans out...getting frustrated lol
