new computer MiniPC Need tech help

So i bought an ecube off of svc.com, Finally got enough money to buy a p4 2.8c and installed it, Installed 2x256mb ddr ram along with floppy and cdrw drives. Booted up the computer, beeps once, looks like its going to boot and then it just shuts down, as if you would hit the power button.

I am clueless, Does anyone have any ideas?
 
Done any troubleshooting yet?

-Try re-seating RAM, CPU. video card, ... and try to boot after each one

-Disconnect everything but moniter and keyboard and try to boot. By everything I mean hard drive, floppy drive and any other cards or drives or peripherals. If it boots, plug things back in one at a time and see where the problem. When you disconnect things, make sure to unplug both the power cable and "data" cable.

-Try not to go insane.
