Hey guys, I'm currently running a Lian Li V1200, but i'm looking for something that has good airflow, cable management, practicality, and doesn't look like it's trail rated. So far the only case i've seen that fullfills everything is the Silverstone FT02. Any ideas?

If you like the Lian Li look, the V2120 will be released next month - the specifications look very good. It's sure to be stupidly expensive, but that's the sacrifice you make to get a rich Chinese guy's name printed on the front of your computer.

Why are you dissatisfied with your current case?

The FT02 is a fantastic case. I wouldn't hesitate to get it. If you're keen on waiting some more the TJ11 should be coming out before the new year.

Don't get me wrong, I love the V1200. But it's just such a pain to work with - it's got literally non existent cable management and airflow, and I don't like the idea of modding it ever further to get it how I want it.

Personally I like the Corsair 800D. Plenty of room to work in, great cable management and if you install the extra fans in the case, decent cooling. My 930 idles at around 37C and my GPU at 30C. My 2 cents.

I looked up a few cases and so far I like the ft02, the raven v02, antec 700/800d. There are other cool cases out there but I want something more conservative and tasteful. Right now I have one of those ancient antec performance series 2 sx1000 black soho case and love the steel frame and built quality but wish there was a metal front door/pannel. I like how the 800d looks and it looks sturdy but the entry price for either model seems a bit steep. I hear the ft02 is one of the better ones for air cooling, it's also the ravens v02 more luxurious cousin with improved hard drive racks. Lian li has some newer cases coming out but some models turn me away due to having inacessible air filter cleaning management aka requiring to remove front pannel and 7 screws to clean the filters. Good luck.

Wow...that's a very small case but it looks amazing otherwise. Seems like Antec's first decent, non-derivative case in a while.

actually, its a pretty big case. i have mine but it wont be released until 9/28 so cant post pics yet.

This might make decide harder but the corsair 800D is on sale for $240 which puts it around the price of the SilverStone FT02, you can also get a bundle deal with the 800D and the corsair hx1200 for a bit less than $500 if your shopping for a new psu. That new upcoming lian li case does look pretty but then it leaves you wondering when it will be actually be available and pricing, if you do wait and are shopping for a new gpu then they will release the new amd gpus sometime in October but if that's not your cup of tea it should make prices more competitive for nvidia or whatever brand you want.
