Hey All,

I've been in the market for a new case for the last three months. I've looked at tons of pictures and read many reviews. I still cannot find that perfect case that meets my needs. I finally decided to ask for other peoples input.

Here is what I need out of my next case

all aluminum
Mid tower
hold 2x Geforce GTX 670
room for a Corsair H100i
at least 2x 120-140mm intake
at least 2x 120-140mm exhaust
I do not want any case that holds a fan bigger than 140mm fan.

I think I have all must haves and what I do not want.

Ty for all your suggestions.

I think either the Silverstone TJ-09/TJ-10, while older, will fit your needs (the only difference is the front fascia between the two).

Any reason for going with only small fans?

You didnt include a price. If you go all aluminum it wont be cheap and get mostly lian li options. Get a price and Ill get some options listed.

I have been thinking about possibly the Lian Li PC-V700X. My concern w/ that one is the PSU blowing the hot air out of the case just to be sucked right back in by the fan just above it. Other then the one single front 140mm fan would this case meet my needs?

My budget is about $400.

Ty for the suggestions thus far.

Take a look at some of the mountain mods tower cases. You can buy a lot of case from them for $400.

Not sure if the Lian Li pc-9f if you could fit h100i in the front with the tubes being long enough, but I do know for a fact you can remove the hdd cages fairly easily.

I think you are correct there Deadlift. I think I maybe sold on the Mountain Mods Monticle 18. Being that I am picky I am going to have to sleep on it a night or two. I will definitely be giving them a call about there product tomorrow.

Ty

Otherwise there are the Case Labs cases that come in mid tower size like the merlin and the sm8/m8.

I owned a pinnacle 24 before I got the case labs TH10 and had I known about the case labs before I ordered the mountain mods I would have just gotten the case labs for roughly the same price and been much happier.

After looking at the pictures of the Mountain Mods Monticle 18. I have come to the conclusion that the case is dated. I do not see any predrilled holes for mounting SSD's. They offer a top 3x 120mm fan panel but what good is that if one hole looks like it will be covered up by the PSU. The only place I can see to hide wires are behind the motherboard tray. The window options are sub par at best. The windows look like they are only going to show off the PSU and 5.25 bay which is bad due to the poor wire management lay out. I do not see any removable fan filters or any fan filters to begin with. Like I said I am picky so I am going to have to keep looking around for the time being. :(
