Hi guys, long time lurker, first time poster here.
Currently my setup is:
- Q6600 @ 3GHz
- 4GB Ram @ 666MHz
- ATI HD 4870 512 MB
- Corsair 650W PSU
- Samsung P2770HD monitor @ 1920x1080.

I usually play Starcraft2, WoW, but I would like in the future to have the ability to play Diablo3, Crysis2 at highest (or very close) settings at my resolution.
My 4870 shows its age in both performance and power consumption and I would like to replace it.
I have ~350 Euros for a new GPU, but can't make up my mind on which GPU to buy. I really like AMD-ATI, but if the performance/power consumption is great I might reconsider.
For now I am considering the 6850, 6870 and possibly the 6950 (if below 350 Euros when launched).
What do you guys think?
 
Buy a 6850 and OC it up or wait for the 6950. Performance-for-power-usage ratio is going to keep you from using NV regardless of product, there's no argument to be made in that area and I won't bother trying.
 
If I go with a 6950 card, do you think my CPU will hold me back at my resolution with all the details to the highest (lets presume the 6950~nVidia 480)?
